We currently shoot at New Brighton Rugby Club, Reeds Lane, Leasowe, Wirral CH46 3RH, United Kingdom.

History

During the First World War, the female members kept the club running, but it closed during the Second World War. In 1947, the club was reformed by Colonel Trueman, Messrs Hubert Morris and Tom Howard. Since then, the club has shot in various locations on the Wirral, including Gayton, Thornton Hough, Birkenhead, and Wallasey.

Courses

We offer a beginner's course once a year, usually around Easter. The cost of the course is £60, and all equipment is provided. The minimum age to participate is 10 years old, and under 18s must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times.

Membership

We welcome new archers who have completed a recognised beginner's course and understand safe shooting practices and archery etiquette. We also accept experienced archers transferring from other clubs, with proof of Archery GB membership. Lapsed archers will be assessed by our club coaches.
